The Truman Library site offers and education link which has several useful links. This link has a powerpoint presentaion on the major events of the Truman years that you can download. There are also secondary and middle school lessons available. There is an excellent lesson available of the Berlin airlift.

This is a student information site. It contains biographical information with links to each aprt of his life. There are 7 politicla cartoons for class use. The Truman White House is featured. The comic book he used during his campaign is also available.

3. Marshall Plan

This site was created to commemorate the 50th anniversay of the Marshall Plan. The site contains various countries perspectives on the plan. A map of the plan would be an excellent visual aid for classroom presentation. Each perspective contains an accompanying photo, cartoon or illustration.
