As a BCC student you can participate in MassTransfer, a statewide program that guarantees admission, tuition reduction, and transfer of credit (each based on final GPA) to the University of Massachusetts and most Massachusetts state colleges.
Just enroll in an linked MassTransfer degree program at BCC and complete your Associate’s degree at BCC with the required GPA. There is no obligation to attend a Massachusetts public college or university. For more information on MassTransfer click here

How to participate
You will need to submit a MassTransfer Application to the four-year college you are interested in attending (by March 1 for fall admission and by October 15 for spring admission) to complete the MassTransfer Process.
Students who graduate with a degree in Business Administration Transfer, Communication Transfer, Criminal Justice Transfer, Deaf Studies Transfer, Early Childhood Transfer, Elementary Education, Environmental Science, General Studies-MassTransfer Option, Human Services, or Liberal Arts automatically meet the MassTransfer Block. Students who choose to transfer before graduating or students in other programs can meet the block by completing the courses below:

These credits, when completed together with a 2.0 or higher GPA, fully transfer to any Massachusetts public higher education institution, even if the associate’s degree is not completed. These credits also satisfy the general education /distribution/core requirements at any other Massachusetts public higher education institution, with the receiving institution being able to add no more than six additional credits/two courses.
