Up to $5000 per year depending on GPA | Eligible students are those who are graduating from a two-year college (public or private). Students must have a grade point average of 3.25 or better and have completed their associate degree program before matriculating at UMD. The scholarships are renewable for up to four semesters if students complete 18 credits a year and maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average. Application for admission and subsequent acceptance to UMD will automatically allow students to be considered. Consideration given to students who apply for fall admission by March 1, 2013. Northeastern University Health Management Scholarship
Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies will award one-time $5000 scholarships to three BCC students accepted into their Fast Track Bachelor of Science in Health Management program. All classes in this program will be offered at BCC’s New Bedford campus or online. Click here for more information about the program.
Applicants for the scholarship must be nominated by BCC faculty, staff, or administrators. Click here for the nomination form. The deadline for nominations is June 1, 2013.
BCC Foundation Scholarships for Transfer Students
Students who are graduating and planning to attend a baccalaureate institution in fall 2013 may be eligible to apply for some or all of the following scholarships; Angela Rose Sbardella Scholarship,The Matthew B. Lawton Scholarship and/or the Edward Terral Smith Jr. Scholarship. For more information and eligibility criteria, click here.
Eastern Nazarene College Scholarship for Social Work Majors
Students who graduate from BCC’s Human Services program with a GPA of 2.5 or higher can take advantage of a new articulation agreement between Eastern Nazarene College and Bristol Community College. You can view the agreement on the Transfer Affairs website at http://www.bristolcc.edu/Students/transfer/ta_agreements.cfm. In addition, students are automatically awarded merit scholarships with the following GPA’s.
3.50+ $12,500
3.25+ $10,000
3.00+ $7,500
2.50+ $5,000
Students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa will receive an additional $2,500. Human Services graduates will also have the opportunity to apply for one of four Social Work Scholarships in the amount of $2,500. This means it is possible for a Human Services graduate with a 3.5 GPA who is a member of PTK and who wins one of the four Social Work scholarships to be awarded a merit scholarship package of $17,500! .

Eastern Nazarene College Scholarship
ENC offers generous tuition discounts and scholarships to BCC students and staff enrolled in their bachelor of arts degree in Management. Classes are held on BCC’s Fall River campus and students with an associate’s degree from BCC in ANY program are eligible. Classes meet one night a week and students can finish the degree in 24 months. ENC also offers a Master of Science in Management degree at BCC. Click here to view the agreement. *Scholarships are granted for 2 years maximum. To retain eligibility at RWU students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 for the $10,000 scholarships and 3.0 for other scholarships.
The GNBGC will award $1000 to an eligible student who is pursuing a degree in conservation, lands, environmental science or a related field. For more information and an application click here
Guaranteed Scholarships from Bryant University
Bryant University has expanded their scholarship support to outstanding BCC transfer students. They will guarantee three $12,000 academic scholarships to students enrolled full time in the following BCC programs:
- One scholarship to a student in the Presidential Scholars Program
- Two scholarships to students enrolled in the Communication Transfer Program, Business Administration Transfer Program or the Computer Information Systems Transfer Program
Eligibility Requirements
- acceptance to Bryant University as a full-time student
- completion of an associate’s degree in one of the three BCC/Bryant articulation agreement programs
- recent graduate from bcc with a minimum GPA of 3.5
- enrolled as a full-time student while at bcc
- There is no scholarship application. winners will be selected from eligible applicants to Bryant University
Scholarship for Future Teachers
The National Association of Community College Teacher Education Programs (NACCTEP) will award two $1000 scholarships to students in education programs at member colleges. Bristol Community College is a member of NACCTEP. Click Here to learn more about the scholarship and to download an application. Transfer Scholarships from Clark University
Clark University, located in Worcester, Ma, offers several scholarships to transfer students. No separate application is required; all applicants who meet the criteria and apply for admission to Clark are considered. These scholarships are based solely on merit, but students may also apply for financial aid through the financial aid office at Clark. Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship - $10,000 Up to 10 merit-based scholarships to students transferring to Clark from two-year colleges. Applicants must:
· Be members of Phi Theta Kappa
· Have a minimum GPA of 3.5
· Be transferring with a minimum of 45 credits
· Be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents
· Meet all admissions and supporting credentials deadlines
Phi Theta Kappa All-USA Academic Scholarship - $15,000 Up to four merit-based scholarships to students transferring to Clark from two-year colleges who have been nominated to the Phi theta Kappa/All-USA Academic Team. Applicants must:
· Have a minimum GPA of 3.7
· Be transferring to Clark with an associate’s degree or a minimum of 60 credits
· Be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents
· Meet all admissions and supporting credentials deadlines
Transfer Leadership Scholarship - $7000 Awarded to students who are transferring from either a two-year or four-year institution. Applicants must:
· Have demonstrated leadership at their institution, place of employment, or community organization
· Have a minimum GPA of 3.3 while carrying a full course load in a challenging curriculum
· Be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents
· Meet all admissions and supporting credentials deadlines
Next Step to Emerson Transfer Scholarship
Emerson College awards half-tuition scholarships valued at more than $15,000 to high-achieving transfer students who plan to transfer to Emerson in fall 2011. The scholarships are renewable for a second year.
Eligibility Requirements
· Students must have at least a 3.2 GPA
· Students must have an associate’s degree from an eligible community college. BCC students are eligible.
· Students must enroll full-time at Emerson and complete their Emerson degree in five or fewer semesters
· Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA while at Emerson to continue to receive the scholarship

Emerson College Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
To be considered eligible, students must earn an Associate’s Degree from an accredited community college and be an official member in good standing of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK). Students must have a 3.5 GPA to apply and complete the PTK scholarship application and submit a 300-word essay along with a counselor recommendation prior to April 2. This scholarship is limited to fall term enrollment and students must apply for transfer admission by March 15. Students who apply for this scholarship must plan to enroll full-time at Emerson College and complete their degree in five or fewer semesters. To continue to receive this scholarship, a 3.0 GPA must be maintained. Also, if a student is awarded a Next Step Emerson scholarship, they cannot be considered for a PTK scholarship.
Emerson College Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship Application;
Phi Theta Kappa/Boston University Scholarship
This scholarship was established through the efforts of Phi Theta Kappa members to recognize outstanding academic and leadership achievements among students seeking to transfer to Boston University.
Up to five scholarship recipients, chosen from among students nominated by Phi Theta Kappa chapter advisors nationwide, will each receive a renewable, half-tuition scholarship award from Boston University. Nominees must be prepared to enter their program of admission as juniors, and a minimum of 60 transferable credits is required.
Scholarship forms are available on our website. Please share these forms with your chapter members. Each chapter may nominate two outstanding students. The submission deadline for the application and all supporting credentials is March 15, 2013. For more information on how to apply, interested students can visit our website.

Scholarship for Evening Students – UMD's Success by Degrees program.
UMass Dartmouth's Division of Professional and Continuing Education (UMD/PCE) will award qualified community college graduates a scholarship equal to a 33% tuition waiver for each course taken to complete a bachelor's degree through UMD/PCE. Full-time or part-time PCE students are able to take on campus, online, blended and weekend courses year-round during fall, winter, spring and summer sessions.
To qualify for the Success by Degrees program, students must
- Obtain an associate's degree from a community college
- Graduate from their community college with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Submit a UMD/PCE degree application within one year of graduating from their community college
Once matriculated at UMD/PCE, qualified students will be eligible for the Success by Degrees program for four years as long as they maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 at UMD. http://www.umassd.edu/pce/apply/ Please write in your Admission status as "Success By Degrees" on the PCE application.

Guaranteed Transfer Scholarship at Lesley College and The Art Institute of Boston
Lesley's Community College Scholarship is an $8000 award, guaranteed and renewable for a second year, for a total value of $16,000. The scholarship will be awarded to Bristol Community College graduates who apply, are admitted and enroll in either one of Lesley's undergraduate colleges-The Art Institute of Boston (AIB) or Lesley College.
