greenPRINT Questions

How many prints will I have available to me each semester or year?
The number of prints available to students will depend on the type and number of classes for which they are enrolled. Alumni and community members will need to purchase a guest card to print at the College.

Student accounts will automatically log out after 15 minutes of inactivity. I went to the restroom while I was working and someone used my computer to print. Students are responsible for their user account and print account. If you leave a computer logged on with your user name you are responsible for the unauthorized printing.

What if the pages I print are smudged or otherwise not usable?
If problems occur while printing, such as a printer jam or issues with print quality, users should save the entire print job and report to the Community Computing Center (K130) or the circulation desk in the library (A), or to the main offices in Attleboro or New Bedford.

What if I make a mistake and the printer prints a several hundred page document and I only wanted one page?
First, be very certain of what you are printing before you click on print. You are responsible for the pages printed on your account.

What if I printed a document and later find that it had typographical errors. Can I reprint without using mygreenPRINT funds?
No, please be sure to proof your work prior to printing a final copy.

I sent a document to be printed, but the printer was jammed and nothing came out (or only blank pages came out), and my account was charged. What can I do?
Visit the ITS Help Desk in room K130 or the circulation desk in the Library (A). You can fill out an adjustment form to request a credit your account. Be sure to remember the date and time the printing happened so we can verify this on your account.

Oops! I sent a print job to the printer by mistake. How can I stop it?
At most locations, once a job is accepted and released to the printer there in nothing that can be done. If you are in the Community Computing Center (K130) or in the Libraries (Attleboro, Fall River, and New Bedford), the print job is first sent to a release station before charges are incurred and may still be cancelled.

This can be done at any of the account management stations or by visiting the Student Accounts Office in the Enrollment Center at the Fall River campus.
