About the Tutoring and Academic Support Center (TASC)

The Tutoring and Academic Support Center (TASC) is located in B building (Engineering) in B110. The TASC is dedicated to providing academic support including free one-on-one and group tutoring for the entire BCC student community. Trained peer tutors cover most courses offered at the college. In addition, tutors are available to assist students to develop the learning skills necessary for success in college. The TASC also has a collection of computer, audio-visual and print material that can be used with or without a tutor. The TASC has a number of computers that can be used by students for help with academic support.

This portion of the BCC web site has been set up to acquaint you with the services offered by the Tutoring and Academic Support Center (TASC) and to introduce you to the people who are there to assist you. In addition, there are suggestions for how to improve study skills as well as links to sites that can give you additional information.
