Dear Parents, Community Members and Friends,
We would like to share with you that Bristol Community College will no longer be offering Kids College. When BCC first created Kids College, parents had limited options to enroll their children in meaningful and fun summer activities at an affordable price. We have great confidence that now there are several organizations in the community that offer many different types of enriching summer programs for children of all ages. It is important that at this time the college dedicate these resources to working with partners in the community and strengthening our professional development and workforce opportunities.
First and foremost, we would like to thank everyone who participated in Kids College for their dedication over the years. Whether you were a parent, instructor or provided support services - because of you, we were able to make a difference in so many children’s lives. We know that children had a great learning experience and it was due to your talent and commitment to the program.
To assist parents with this transition, we are reaching out to community organizations, gathering information on other camps and programs offered in the community. In addition, we are making campus facilities available to community organizations, as well as existing national summer camp providers, should they wish to host programs for youth here at the college.
We will be posting resources and updates on this page. Please share any camp or program listings for children K-12 that you would like us to post on our website by emailing BCC-Workforce@bristolcc.edu or call 774-357-2158.
Thank you again for your support over the years.
