About the FAFSA Day Massachusetts
The FAFSA Day Massachusetts event provides free guidance and assistance to students and families seeking to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), the key form needed to apply for financial aid. The event will feature access to experienced financial aid administrators, FAFSA experts to answer questions and provide guidance on the financial aid process and next steps after filing the FAFSA.
The FAFSA is the federally required form for all students seeking federal financial aid for higher education. Every student who will be attending college during the 2019-2020 academic year needs to complete the FAFSA in order to apply for federal, state and institutional financial aid.

The big question: how can you pay for your education?
Financial aid can ease the burden of costs by offering grants, scholarships, loans, and work study opportunities for qualified students.
You need to be admitted to an eligible degree or certificate program to receive financial aid. All associate degree programs are eligible and some certificate programs are eligible for financial aid. View the current list of Financial Aid Eligible Certificate Programs.
The Financial Aid Office uses standards and procedures developed by the U.S. Department of Education to estimate a fair student and family contribution, determine financial need, and then determine the amount and type of assistance that can be offered to meet your educational expenses.
