Chapter 30, 1607, and 1606 recipients: Once you are certified for your benefits, you must verify your enrollment with the VA at the end of each month before you will receive your payment. Be sure that you have reported exact start and end dates for any session classes in which you are enrolled that are shorter or extend beyond the regular semester. To verify enrollment, go to the Web Automated Verification of Enrollment at www.gibill.va.gov (click on WAVE) or call 1-877-823-2378.

ALL CHANGES MUST BE REPORTED TO THE VA OFFICE AT BCC IMMEDIATLEY

All students who are collecting VA benefits need to IMMEDIATLEY report changes in their schedule (adding and/or dropping a course, withdrawing from a course, finishing an incomplete in a course, etc.) to the BCC VA Office on the Fall River campus located in G-200 or by calling 508-678-2811 x2227

Students filing for Chapter 33 (Post 9/11 GI Bill) benefits should bring their certificate of eligibility (obtained from VONAPP) to the VA Office at BCC before or at the same time as the appropriate form from above.

Students filing for Chapter 31 (VA Rehab) benefits should bring their certificate of eligibility (obtained from The VA Office in Providence 1-401-223-3607) to the VA Office at BCC before or at the same time as the appropriate form from above.
