Joint Admission Process
When you are ready to transfer:
- Complete the Intent to Enroll Form. If you are in the Joint Admissions program, you do not need to fill out applications to your Joint Admissions colleges or universities. You DO NOT have to write an essay and you DO NOT have to pay an application fee. In order to qualify for Joint Admissions you must complete your associate’s degree before you begin classes at the four-year school. DO NOT APPLY ONLINE FOR JOINT ADMISSIONS.

- Send college transcripts. You can request a transcript through accessBCC. You will also need to contact any other colleges you have attended and arrange to have your transcripts forwarded.
- Submit the Intent to Enroll Form. Make sure to submit your Intent to Enroll form by the deadline indicated on the form to insure that you receive the benefits of the Joint Admissions program.
- Four-Year College Interviews at BCC. Every semester representatives from area colleges and universities meet with students at BCC. This is an excellent opportunity to speak with Admissions Officers and to drop off applications and transcripts. Check the Transfer Calendar to find out when the representatives will be on campus and how you can schedule an appointment.
- Send a final transcript. After you have received your final grades, send a final transcript to the college you have chosen to attend. Check with the Enrollment Services Office to ensure that your graduation status is recorded on your transcript before you request a final transcript.
