Campus Outreach Enhancement Strategies (CORE)
The Campus Outreach Enhancement Strategies (CORE) is Bristol Community College's one-stop resource for information about substance abuse prevention and addiction treatment. Services are free, confidential and available on or off campus.
CORE's mission is to help students meet their educational and life goals by decreasing the harmful use of alcohol, illegal drugs and other substances. We want to inspire students to make healthy decisions regarding their life choices.
What can CORE do for me?
We offer screening and brief interventions to assist you in beginning the journey to gain control over a problem and the counseling you need to make it through.
CORE can refer you for professional assistance in dealing with your problems and offer you a voice, someone to stand by you in facing the problems, be it personally or educationally.
We can come to you. CORE offers classroom presentations as well as personal advice or suggestions in learning about substance abuse and the problems it can create.
Or, simply, we can always offer someone to talk to. Nothing is as important as someone who is a good listener or can help you make the decisions that are right for you. Sometimes, it just comes down to needing someone to talk to.
Call today and ask how you may be eligible to participate in a study. Earn some extra money while helping yourself and others.
