Bristol Community College Athletics: Arsene Oka

Arsene Oka will be entering his second season as the Men’s Soccer Head Coach at Bristol Community College. The native of Ivory Coast, Africa is no stranger to the sport as he comes to BCC after seven years of playing professional soccer. He began his professional career with the Africa Sport in Ivory Coast from 2004-2006 before entering the MLS with the New England Revolution. Arsene spent two seasons as a forward with the Revolution before finishing his final two years in professional soccer with the Portland Timbers in 2008 and the Cleveland City Stars in 2009.

While with Cleveland he was also the Head Women’s Soccer Coach for Kent State’s club team. Arsene also holds an International D Coaching License.

“Arsene is a wonderful addition to the men’s soccer coaching staff. Bringing in a coach with his experience and enthusiasm for the game is instrumental to the future of Bristol soccer,” says Derek Viveiros, BCC Athletic Director.
