Free financial aid help at Bristol Community College on January 26
Bristol Community College will be the local site for College Goal Sunday on January 26, from 1-4 p.m., in the Commonwealth College Center (G-Building) at the BCC Fall River Campus. College Goal Sunday features free help in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, the key form needed to apply for financial aid for college. Bristol Community College is the local site of more than 30 other FAFSA Days in Massachusetts.
College Goal Sunday is a volunteer-driven effort to provide free guidance to students and families seeking to complete the FAFSA. The event will feature access to experienced financial aid administrators and other FAFSA experts who are available to answer questions and provide guidance on the financial aid process and next steps after filing the FAFSA. Families are encouraged to visit www.fafsaday.org to register, and to view a list of what to bring.
The FAFSA is the federally required form for all students seeking federal financial aid for higher education. Students attending college during the 2014-2015 academic year must complete the 2014-2015 FAFSA, available at www.fafsa.gov, if they are interested in receiving federal and state financial aid.
