BCC Community Partners

A BCC student who is enrolled in a course in which a Service-Learning Option is offered must choose a placement that his or her professor agrees is consistent with the course objectives. The selected activity should also be related to the student’s career or personal interests.

The list below provides the contact information and prerequisites needed for schools and non-profit agencies and organizations that have registered as BCC Community-Service Partners as well as the approved service-learning placements options offered by them. A student can also choose a placement with another non-profit agency, organization, or school that is approved by his or her professor.

To aid in your search for a placement you can perform a find on this page.  For example, if you would like to perform clerical work, you can quickly search this page for every community partner that is looking for volunteers to do clerical work.

    1. On the Edit menu, click Find.
    2. In the Find what box, enter the text that you want to search for (clerical).
    3. Select Find Next and repeat until you find a suitable placement.
