Art and Museum Images
This database is a rich digital resource of art images and related multimedia gathered from the collections of distinguished museums around the world. Cultures and time periods represented range from contemporary art, Native American and Inuit art, to ancient Greek, Roman, and Egyptian works, along with Japanese and Chinese works.

Museum of the Moving Image
The Museum of the Moving Image advances the public understanding and appreciation of the art, history, technique and technology of film, television, and digital media. It does so by collecting, preserving, and providing access to moving-image related artifacts; screening significant films and other moving-image works; presenting exhibitions of artifacts, artworks, and interactive experiences; and offering educational and interpretive programs to students, teachers, and the general public.
The British Museum Images
British Museum Images is the on-line digital image website of the British Museum catering primarily for the image-buying professional. It offers access to rights-managed images of objects held in the British Museum's collection. One can search, buy, license and download hi-resolution (300dpi, JPG) digital images for use in publishing, TV, merchandising and advertising on-line. Access to download low-resolution (72dpi, JPG) un-watermarked images for layout purposes at no extra cost. The British Museum do not supply images on transparency or print format for commercial use, only digital files.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art
In addition to more than 3,500 objects from the permanent collection and the Timeline of Art History, this website also provides access to WATSONLINE, the online catalogue for the Museum's libraries. The Lita Annenberg Hazen and Joseph H. Hazen Center for Electronic Information Resources provides a number of services both online and at its physical location in Thomas J. Watson Library, including an index of general and specialized Internet links.
