Census Bureauis the source of many statistics we see on American demographics. The site contains information on topics such as population, housing, and economics. Fedstatsprovides easy access to “statistics collected and published by more than 100 federal [government] agencies”. Population Reference Bureau (PRB)provides “information on U.S. and international population trends and their implications.” Statistical Abstractsis primarily a collection of statistics on US economic and social conditions. Statistical Resources on the Webis a goldmine of links to statistical sources. The scope is very broad encompassing such diverse topics as banking, capital punishment, and health. |
