Chilling Effects Clearinghouse

"Chilling Effects aims to help you understand the protections that the First Amendment and intellectual property laws give to your online activities." Sponsored by the Electronic Frontier Foundation and Harvard, Stanford, Berkeley, University of San Francisco and University of Maine law school clinics, the Clearinghouse offers several categories of information. These include copyright and the DMCA (Digital Millenium Copyright Act), Linking, Patent and Trademark. In addition, a searchable database of Cease and Desist notices to Internet users is being developed.
