How can you locate information?
Librarians are available to answer questions. They can show you how to find books and other sources of information. Our reference librarians will also answer questions over the telephone. To reach a reference librarian call (508) 678-2811 ext. 2108. You can also submit a question through our Ask a Librarian form.
If the LRC does not have the resources necessary to answer your question, we will try to refer you to a library that does. Also, the staff produces many guides and subject bibliographies to help in your research. Whenever you need help using the LRC, please ask at the Reference Desk. The reference area is located on the first floor of the Learning Resources Center.
Online Reference databases
The LRC also has many online databases that index and abstract articles found in periodicals, newspapers, and government reports. Several of these databases contain the full-text articles or reports which can be printed out on laser printers.
The Internet
The LRC also has access to the Internet, which is a worldwide network of databases and information.
