Information Literacy
Simply defined, "information literacy" is the term now commonly used to describe the ability to search for, locate, evaluate, and appropriately use information.  If you are a faculty member, and want to bring in your class for library instruction, please contact Emily Brown ext. 3040, or fill out our online form for Information Literacy Request.

Divisional Library Liaison

The Library offers a division liaison service  for the departments and programs within the College.  The purpose of this service is to provide an educational link between the library and the faculty divisions by establishing an ongoing partnership with teaching faculty.  Liaisons can visit your department to share current information regarding library programs, resources, and services and can discuss your needs by e-mail or phone.  Faculty are invited to contact liaisons about library collections and services, existing resources in your field, and procedures for requesting materials for the library to support your teaching, clinical and research needs.
